The owner, a retired airline pilot (DC-6/ Hercules/707/ DC-8/747),  learned to fly taildraggers early on and has never been able to "break the habit".  He has been giving flight instruction since 1972, and first owned this Little Blue Champ in 1974.

It was originally purchased in a partnership, and the two partners flew it, individually and together, all over the state of Pennsylvania and neighboring states.

He says:  "After losing track of the airplane for a number of years, I re-located it about 10 years ago, and flew it with the previous owner, a retired United Airlines DC-8 pilot.  Unfortunately, Tom passed away a few years ago and did not get to enjoy it very many years into his retirement.  The airplane remained in his estate for about six years, and in 2004 I purchased the airplane from his widow, exactly 30 years after owning it before.   I would be happy to have you fly it;  it's a great little levitation machine.  The grins are continual and contagious. Any time you are flying a Champ off a grass field, the hands of time stop and then rewind to the 1940's or 1950's.  And that's a good thing,
